When the world ends, the young Furiosa is kidnapped from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a large biker horde led by the warlord Dementus. As they wander through the wasteland, they come across the citadel, which is ruled by Immortan Joe. As the two tyrants fight for dominance, Furiosa must overcome many trials and make plans to find her way home. Taylor-Joy plays the title role, and alongside Hemsworth, the film also stars Alyla Browne and Tom Burke. Miller co-wrote the screenplay with Nico Lathouris, co-writer of Mad Max: Fury Road.
