Ariel is King Triton´s favorite daughter, but she is also a rebellious mermaid who keeps approaching the forbidden world of humans. Her curiosity grows as she discovers objects from the sea surface. One day she saves Prince Eric from drowning and falls in love with him. But to be with him, she needs legs. The sea witch Ursula grants her this wish, but takes her vote as security. Arielle now has to make a tough decision about being with Eric. The film is a live-action adaptation of the 1989 animated film Little Mermaid, based on Hans Christian Andersen´s fairy tale The Little Mermaid.
